Aksys and Spike Chunsoft’s upcoming roguelike Shiren The Wanderer: Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate will be available as a limited version, the Eternal Wanderer Edition. The set is available for pre-order exclusively on Askys’ online store and comes bundled with several goodies, including a few tied to another Aksys series, Zero Escape. The bundle comes with a Deluxe Nonary Bracelet, a Nonary Display Box, a 64-page 20th Anniversary art book celebrating the Shiren series, and a 10-song soundtrack CD.

Daydreamer: Awakened Edition now PS4-only, launching July 12

Atlus has sent word that Roland Studios’ Daydreamer: Awakened Edition will no longer be launching for Xbox One. No details were given regarding the cancellation. Additionally, the PS4 version of the surreal side-scrolling action title has been officially dated and will hit PSN on July 12. As a bonus, the game will be discounted 20% off as part of a launch-week promo.

Degica’s Shooting Love 20XX collection is coming to an end soon with the release of ExZeal on July 14. The fourth, and final, release in the set follows Shmups Skill Test, Minus Zero, and TriZeal Remix. Shooter fans can look forward to four-plus weapon systems, two-player co-op, replay mode, and support for Steam achievements, cloud saves, and leaderboards.

Sega has released a new trailer as well as their DLC plans for 7th Dragon III Code: VFD. The upcoming role-playing game will be hitting online outlets and store shelves next week, but for today, players can see more of what’s in store with the new video, titled Full Trailer. A demo’s also up on eShop, for those wanting some hands-on time. The game follows a party of heroes as they hunt dragons throughout three different time periods: ancient Atlantis, present Tokyo, and future Eden. Also, all of the download packs will be free for the week following their release, which will add new quests, characters, and weapons. The release schedule can be found below.

The isometric action-platformer Lumo has launched for PS Vita. The Triple Eh? Ltd.-developed adventure is designed to be similar to the platformers from the 1980s and early 1990s, with players tasked with navigating over 400 puzzle-filled rooms set throughout four zones. The game also features cross-buy support and cross-save functionality with the PS4 version.

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse has been officially dated for September 20. To celebrate the announcement, Atlus has released a new trailer. The video focuses on the cast of characters that players will run across on their adventure, including the protagonist’s childhood friend and Hunter Association member Asahi, Eastern Kingdom samurai Navarre, and masked Ring of Gaea assassin Toki. And for those wanting to relive the original, two of the studio’s newer employees will be trying their hand at SMTIV today at 2:00 p.m. (CST) on the official Twitch channel.



Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare story panel to be at Comic-Con 2016

Activision has sent word that they will be hosting a 60-minute panel for Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare at Comic-Con. On July 21, attendees can check out exclusive story footage, and get some insight into how the developers are creating the campaign. Several team members will share making-of info, including narrative director Taylor Kurosaki, director of photography Jeff Negus, David Harewood (Supergirl, Blood Diamond), and Jamie Gray Hyder (True Blood, Graceland). The panel will start at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday in room 6BCF. Attendees will also receive a limited-edition lithograph poster from Mondo and artist Matt Taylor.

The King of Fighters XIV to be at EVO 2016 with demo, tourney

Atlus and SNK are once again bringing King of Fighters to EVO. This year, EVO 2016 will host a booth and a small tournament for The King of Fighters XIV. They will be bringing the latest build for some hands-on time, including a free-to-enter tournament that will net winners $1,400 for first, $700 for second, and $350 for third place. A panel will also be held with artists and developers on hand to answer questions and sign autographs. The full schedule can be found below.

Rocket League has been released in stores as a physical Collector’s Edition for $29.99. Psyonix’s racer-soccer hybrid comes bundled with an art print, three download packs (Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run), and four new vehicles. The additions include two that are inspired by anime, Esper and Masmune, and two that are re-imaginings of Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars vehicles, Aftershock and Marauder.
