Bungie will be adding Private Matches to Destiny ahead of the release of Rise of Iron. Tomorrow, current-gen versions—that is, PS4 and Xbox One, as weird as that remains to say—will allow players to host sessions from up to 18 modes across nearly 30 maps.

Forza Horizon 3 demo goes live for Xbox One

Launching in a little over two weeks, you could say that Forza Horizon 3 is on the … horizon. (Heyo!) To get players back into their groove, Turn 10 has released a playable demo for Xbox One. The trial features a tour of the features along with a portion of the map, several events, online free-roaming sessions, and a handful of rides. In addition to the Lamborghini Centenario, the demo garage also includes the BMW M4 Coupe, Ford Shelby GT350R, and 2014 HSV Limited Edition GEN-F GTS Maloo. The studio is currently hosting a look at the demo on their Twitch channel.

Bethesda has released The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The bundle includes the main game and all four major downloadable packs. The full set allows players to take on new quests in Skyrim, Daggerfall, Cyrodiil, Imperial City, and the Gold Coast. The packs also add the Thieves Guild as well as the Dark Brotherhood. Current players can downloadable all of the packs in a new downloadable set, Guilds and Glory, for 5,500 Crowns.

Halcyon 6: Starbase Commander available for PC, launch trailer up

The Kickstarter-backed hybrid strategy and role-playing game Halcyon 6: Starbase Commander has launched for PC. Developer Massive Damage’s latest is said to offer a “a unique blend of base building, exploration, and a deep tactical JRPG style combat system.” As a commander of the New Terran Federation, players take control of an ancient alien starbase in an effort to defeat the invading Chruul.

Forza Horizon 3 station and full track list revealed, pushing 150 songs

Turn 10 has detailed the soundtrack for Forza Horizon 3. As with the previous entries, FH3 will feature multiple radio stations that focus on a variety of genres. Eight stations will play almost 150 songs by artists from Epitaph, Hospital, Vagrant, and several other labels. There will also be several new stations playing classical, hip hop, indie rock, punk, and metal. The full station and track list has been posted below. Groove Music Pass functionality will also be supported for PC and Xbox One.

Arc System Works goes adventuring in Inferno Climber for PC

Arc System Works’ action role-playing game Inferno Climber has launched for PC. As one of eight playable characters, including the Forest Hunter, Popular Merchant, and Royal Knight, players must gather five stones from five different kingdoms. In addition to having to avoid traps, solve puzzles, battle monsters, and acquire loot, players must also maintain a steady supply of food. The estimated 50-hour adventure is said to host over 90 enemy types.

Mages has released Steins;Gate for PC. The adventure-style visual novel takes place in 2010, with players following a scientist in Akihabara who learns how to send email to the past. The sci-fi story intertwines plots that lead to multiple endings, depending on the choices made, and is said to include an estimated 30 to 50 hours of reading material.

Atlus has pulled the curtain back on one of gaming’s greatest mysteries: why they changed Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final’s name. The hard-hitting video goes behind the scenes to show the process of how and why the studio decided to call the new entry Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. Brace yourselves for some revelations. They didn’t stop there, though, as they also revealed that a new free 3DS theme will be released on September 15. And to see the game in action, a previous gameplay stream has been archived for viewing, while another is set to take place next Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. (CST) on Atlus’ Twitch channel.

Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scrolls Online will support PS4 Pro. It will be one of the first titles to take advantage of the new hardware, via a free update. To show off the updated visuals, the studio has released a gameplay trailer showing the game running in 4K on the new system. Note that the trailer requires a 4K monitor to view in all its glory.
