Focus Home and Spiders are teaming up once again for a new role-playing game for console and PC, The Technomancer. The post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk adventure puts players in the shoes of a Technomancer on Mars during the War of Water. The Technomancer will have access to three fighting styles, four skill trees, recruitable companions, and crafting options for arms and armor. Dynamic conversations will also affect how characters engage players, and subsequently, how the story unfolds. The player’s actions during their time on Mars, conversing with others, battling the various tribes, and eluding the Secret Police, will also determine their ending out of the five available.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt trailer gives world, gameplay overview

CD Projekt has uploaded almost five minutes of gameplay footage from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The snippet is from the campaign’s main quest, which sees Geralt of Rivia on a mission to track down the powerful Child of Prophecy throughout the Northern Realms. The trailer gives a broad, narrated overview of the game’s mechanics, including side activities (horse racing, gambling), the ability to join cults, dialog options that alter your stance in the world, the gradual repopulation of lands cleared of monsters, and combat.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD ships a million, FFXV feedback in focus

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has shipped over a million units, according to Square Enix. The studio also announced that they will be hosting a player feedback special about Final Fantasy XV on an upcoming Active Time Report with director Hajime Tabata based on community feedback from Episode Duscae. Scheduled to begin on 1 p.m. (CST) April 27, the new episode will discuss the type of comments received and the development team’s plans on how they will address concerns and suggestions. US Army showcased in new trailer for Act of Aggression

Eugen has released the first of three faction trailers for Act of Aggression. The debut trailer covers the US Army, a heavy specialized veteran force that isn’t as versatile as the other forces, restricted as they are to current tech, but they have the ability to level up their units. At nearly three minutes, the trailer runs through the pros and cons of choosing the US Army, including their defense’s dependence on constant energy and an armed Humvee that can quickly track down the procedurally generated resources and engage infantry. Next up is the UNO-funded Chimera, followed afterward by the stealthy Cartel.

Grip Digital and Terrible Posture Games’ bullet-hell-style first-person shooter Tower Of Guns has launched for PS3, PS4 and will go up on Friday for Xbox One. The download-only release, described as “a pure FPS experience,” features randomized levels and enemies, upgradeable abilities, and modifiable gear. After dying, players retain their kit and powered-up abilities but return to the beginning of the tower to face new enemies and a new layout.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided announced for console and PC, trailer up

Square Enix has revealed Eidos Montreal’s follow-up to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The sequel is in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One and will take place two years after the events in Human Revolution, with humanity split between those with and those without augments. Players will once again take on the role of Adam Jensen, who is now an anti-terrorist agent with even more powerful augments, as he tries to navigate and uncover the mysterious forces who are attempting to manipulate the divided public.

Nordic brings four House of Tales adventure titles to Steam

Four adventure titles developed by House of Tales have been re-released on Steam by Nordic Games. Overclocked, Mystery of the Druids, The Moment of Silence, and 15 Days are now all available for download. The titles cover a wide range of storylines, from a group of activists getting caught up in a conspiracy after selling stolen art to raise money for charity (15 Days) to a Scotland Yard detective out to uncover the link between a group of druids and a recent series of murders (Mystery of the Druids). Etrian Mystery Dungeon was just released two days ago and Atlus is already well underway in preparing Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold for release in North America. To get everyone up to speed before its summer launch, the studio has posted a new video focusing on the protagonist, the Fafnir Knight. As the bodyguard of Princess Arianna, he will not only use sword and shield to protect her life but also the power of the Fafnir to transform into a demonic version of himself to access new, more powerful skills.

Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron coming to Zen’s pinball lines

Zen Studios is continuing their line of Marvel-themed tables with the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. The table will be available across Zen’s titles on PC, console, and mobile platforms (Zen Pinball 2, Pinball FX2, and Marvel Pinball) on April 21. The table will have modes for each member of the team, including Captain America and Thor, with a battle between Iron Man and Ultron and a first-person shooting mini-game for Hawkeye.
