Crackdown 2, sequel to the game everyone ended up inadvertently loving, has finally received a release date: July 6 in North America, July 8 in Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and July 9 in Europe.
As with its predecessor, Crackdown 2 will be an open-world quest for justice that emphasizes freedom and complete mayhem. If leaping across city blocks and pummeling thugs with cars wasn’t enough to get you excited, the robust multiplayer component should be. With 16-player versus and 4-player co-op, including a sassy little mode called Rocket Tag, answering Pacific City’s call for justice this summer should be all the more easier.
