The latest in the Ace Combat franchise has taken to the skies today as Namco Bandai has announced that Ace Combat Joint Assault is now available for the PSP and will be available for the PSPgo next week, on September 7.
Joint Assault features over 40 aircraft, revamped visuals, real-world locations, as well as both ad hoc and infrastructure multiplayer. Multiplayer features eight-player versus and team-based modes as well as four-player campaign co-op, with missions set around the globe, from Tokyo to London. Co-op also features the Joint Assault Mission System where two teams separate to complete different objectives on separate maps. Objective status also carries over to other missions.
