Square Enix has announced that their iPhone/iPod touch role-playing game Chaos Rising is now available for the iPad, updated for 1024x768 HD support, on the iTunes Store and App Store.

Priced at $15.99, Chaos Rising is based around the Arca Arena, a tournament where duos square off for the prize of eternal life. The turn-based combat system allows combatants to attack on their own or in conjunction with their teammate. In addition to experience, victorious players also unlock the gene of their defeated opponent, which can be equipped to learn additional magic and special moves.
