Now this is some pretty cool news: XS Games is going to release The Red Star this spring for the iPhone and PSPgo. If you didn’t get a chance to play it back in 2007, The Red Star was a highly acclaimed shooter-beat ‘em up hybrid based on the graphic novel of the same name. Originally slated for both an Xbox and PS2 release, the Xbox version was eventually canceled while the PS2 version became a cult hit. The iPhone and PSPgo versions are stated to have updated graphics and improved controls.
