Ubisoft’s Battle of Giants Mutant Insects, latest in the Battle of Giants series, is now available at retail. Developed by Ubisoft Quebec, the developers of Battle of Giants Dragons and Battle of Giants Dinosaurs, the newest entry into the series sees players trying to rule a post-apocalyptic wasteland through an army of insects. The stuff many a 1950’s nightmares were made of. But no nightmares for the curious, though, as the ESRB has rated this wasteland world a family-friend “E” for Everyone.

As Emperor scorpion, mantis, spider, or flying ant of the insect empire, players will have to collect gems to upgrade their insect warriors. Battlefields sprawl from ruined cities to muggy swamps. The battle system has been upgraded with new abilities, to more properly put foes in their place. Multiplayer is also including, allowing for tournaments of up to four players.
