D3Publisher has announced that they will be releasing Bandai Namco’s God Eater in North America for the PSP in the third quarter of 2010.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world ruined by mutated beasts known as the Aragami, the player must create a God Eater and wield their powerful Jinki weapons to face the monsters. The weapons' forms can be changed to slash, shoot, and devour enemies while bullets can be customized for strength, pattern, and elemental type.  Players can team up with friends for four-player adhoc (adhocParty) co-op or go out on the hunt with AI partners in 100 missions, scavenging for items to customize their weapons, guns, bullets, and shields. A predator mode also allows players to transform their Jinki to beast form in order to gain stat boosts and special bullets. Check back here and the link below for future updates.
