Turn 10 reveals 40 of Forza Motorsport 6’s 450 rides

Turn 10 has released a new list detailing some of Forza Motorsport 6’s 450-car line-up. The initial 40-vehicle list is posted below, 10 of which are FIA Formula E cars (fully electric) that are making their series debut. FM6 will also mark the first time that the entire 2014/2015 FIA Formula E season is represented in a console racer, which differs from the rest by requiring judicious use of power, drivers to swap entire cars, and drivers to gain fans in order to earn extra power via Fan Boosts. New Silence trailer released, closed beta registration opens for PC

Daedalic has released a new trailer for their upcoming adventure title Silence. The studio also announced that a closed beta is scheduled on July 8 for the PC version. Anyone interested can head here to fill out the sign-up form. Everyone selected will receive a credit in the game as well as a free copy of the final version.

Techland has a proposition: drink water, get free Dying Light DLC

Dying Light developer Techland posted a joke yesterday on Twitter promoting delicious, delicious water. Whoever posted a picture of themselves drinking water and promoted it with the hashtag DrinkRightDyingLight would receive a docket code for a free premium weapon. The studio is doubling down on the surprise promotion by creating new, free downloadable packs. The exact number of which is dependent on the number of people who post a picture of themselves drinking water on Twitter with the tag #DrinkForDLC. The first goal is a perk, given that there have been nearly 5,000 tweets already, which is a 50% XP boost to player agility for 24 hours, beginning this Sunday. Check below for the full breakdown. Microsoft has announced a limited edition Xbox One bundle for Forza Motorsport 6 to celebrate the franchise’s 10-year anniversary. The system will feature a design based around the series, with “iconic sports car styling and custom automotive sound effects,” along with a matching wireless controller, complete with rubberized diamond grips, a 1 TB hard drive, and a copy of Forza Motorsport 6. The bundle will hit store shelves and online outlets on September 15 for $399.99.

The Devil May Cry series returns today with the release of Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition. The $24.99 download includes an updated version of the 2008 original with support for 1080p and 60fps, three new playable characters (Lady, Trish, and Vergil), two new modes (Legendary Dark Knight and Turbo), and new costumes. The original game has also been tweaked with “a rebalanced combat system that improves game tempo and gameplay balance.”

Dontnod and Focus Home team up for new RPG, Vampyr

Dontnod, the studio behind Remember Me and Life Is Strange, is working on a new role-playing game with Focus Home Interactive, Vampyr. The Unreal Engine 4-powered adventure will take players back to early 20th-century Britain as military surgeon-turned-vampire Jonathan E. Reid. As the Spanish flu spreads through the city, players must make their way through the chaos using melee attacks, vampire skills, and firearms as they search for live-saving prey. Any character met can be a victim, and each follows their own routine, which will allow players to decide if they want to trap them to ensure another meal or let them go if their death would cause too much of a commotion.

Activision has a new trailer as well as a video breakdown for Destiny: The Taken King. Originally shown at Sony’s E3 press conference, the trailer offers the first glimpse at the upcoming add-on, while an eight-minute-long ‘vidoc’ provides a deeper look at what Bungie has in store. The expansion will add new subclasses along with new strikes, gear, and enemies. The latest threat is Oryx, the powerful Taken King who commands an army of corrupted taken that must be confronted in a new campaign.
