Bungie releases new trailer for Destiny
A new 60-second trailer has launched for Bungie’s upcoming shooter Destiny. The Jon Favreau-directed trailer, titled Law of the Jungle, features Giancarlo “Gus” Esposito and a mixture of live action and CG. Gamers wanting to check it out on TV will be able to watch it on May 25 on TNT during the NBA Western Conference Finals.

Battlefield 4 to deploy for PS4, Xbox One, plus pre-order and E3 info
EA has announced that Dice will have PS4 and Xbox One versions of Battlefield 4 ready in time for release this holiday season. Two new pre-order programs have also launched, one for the physical release and the other for digital. The first extra is the digital expansion China Rising for boxed versions, which will include new vehicles, new gear, and four multiplayer maps set in mainland China. PC gamers that pre-order the Digital Deluxe version through Origin will also receive China Rising, as well as bonus items and access to the multiplayer beta.

Thief heading to Xbox One in 2014
Eidos Montreal’s upcoming Thief reboot will be launching for Xbox One, according to publisher Square Enix. As master thief Garrett, players will once again pull off daring heists as they case locations and keep to the shadows to avoid guards, traps, and even the supernatural in their quest for justice.

Bethesda has released 10-plus new screens for MachineGames’ upcoming Wolfenstein reboot, Wolfenstein: The New Order. Announced last week, The New Order takes place in an alternate timeline and tasks players with toppling the Nazi regime in 1960, over a decade after their victory in the Second World War.

Ubisoft has released new shots from their upcoming action title Watch Dogs. The screens feature vigilante Aiden Pearce meeting up with a mysterious ally, Clara Lillie, fleeing on a motorcycle, spotting potential targets, and threatening an unfortunate fellow.

Bethesda summons the Nazi hordes for Wolfenstein: The New Order
id’s seminal shooter series Wolfenstein will be returning to consoles and PCs later this year with Wolfenstein: The New Order. The Texas-based studio isn’t helming this latest outing, however. Instead, development duties are being handled by Sweden’s MachineGames, whose founders include members of the Chronicles of Riddick and The Darkness teams from Starbreeze Studios. Unlike previous Wolfenstein titles, The New Order isn’t a continuation of B.J. Blazkowicz’s storyline but a reimagining of the franchise itself.

Former NIS America staff form new publisher, acttil
Three NIS America alumni have formed a new publishing company, acttil. The studio, founded by Jack Niida, Hiroko Kanazashi, and Nao Miyazawa, will offer an array of services to both established and indie studios, including localization, package and advertisement design, editing, monetization strategy development, and sales plan development. At the moment, acttil plans to deliver titles for PC, current and next-gen consoles, mobile platforms, the web, and eReaders.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a go for current and next-gen consoles, PC
Activision has officially revealed Call of Duty: Ghosts. Rumblings about the next entry in the Call of Duty series picked up recently after sales ads listed it for pre-order, and now it’s official. Ghosts is being developed by series creators Infinity Ward, the lead studio behind Modern Warfare 3, and marks the start of a new run, with new characters, a new storyline, and a new engine.

Watch_Dogs to launch in November, gameplay trailer released
Ubisoft has revealed that their upcoming open-world action title Watch_Dogs will be released on November 19 for 360, PC, PS3, and Wii U. The PS4 version will be available at the system’s launch, and versions for other next-gen consoles are also planned. To kick off the announcement, a new gameplay trailer has been released that features protagonist Aiden Pearce in a heretofore unseen district of Chicago. Lastly, the studio also revealed a poster, posted below, with art from Alex Ross that is being given away as a pre-order bonus.
