Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning gets new DLC, Teeth of Naros
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning received its second DLC pack today with the release of Teeth of Naros. The latest expansion adds a new location, the floating city of Idylla, and a race of giants known as the Kollossae. An investigation into the giants’ faith will open up over 20 new side quests and five new dungeons, offering players access to three new Twists of Fate, 18 new weapons, and nine new armor sets.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition hits PC, 360
After years of wandering, Geralt has finally made it to the land of the consoles with the release of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for the 360. The CD Projekt RED-developed action-RPG, released last year for the PC, is an epic adventure filled with heavy world interaction, battles with giant krakens and mercenaries, and branching progression paths. The console version comes with a quest handbook, world map, and soundtrack for $59.99, while PC gamers will be able to download all of the new content, which includes about four hours of additional gameplay and 35 minutes of new cinematics, in the free Enhanced Edition update.

Crysis 3 announced for 2013 with screens and pre-order bonuses
Crysis is set to return next year with Crysis 3. EA has announced that Crytek is currently at work developing the third entry, which will have players taking on the role of Prophet as he battles new enemies in the wilds of the York City Liberty Dome. After being enclosed in a Nanodome by Cell Corporation, New York City’s seven districts have become overrun with vegetation as rivers feed rainforests and swamps surround ruins. Prophet will have access to a new composite bow, new alien technology, and an enhanced Nanosuit to clear the zones of enemies both human and alien.

Sleeping Dogs release date, pre-order programs announced
The upcoming open-world action title Sleeping Dogs from Square Enix and United Front Games has been officially dated for August 14. The 360, PC, and PS3 “cop drama” will follow undercover officer Wei Shen as he attempts to take down the Sun On Yee Triad. Players will find themselves shooting it out in markets, taking down groups of enemies with anything from combos to fridge doors, and engaging in high-speed chases.

Wargame: European Escalation gets free DLC, New Battlefields
R.U.S.E. developer Eugen Systems’ latest real-time strategy title Wargame: European Escalation has received its first DLC pack—and it’s free. The New Battlefields thank-you pack includes seven multiplayer maps, two of which are asymmetrical with set attack and defense roles; new skirmish AI, with support for up to seven players and three difficulty levels; and a new Flare system that allows for preset and customized warning messages.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to support Kinect
I did not see this coming: Bethesda has announced that they will be adding Kinect support for the 360 version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The first of several free add-ons, Skyrim Kinect will feature over 200 Voice Commands, new special map functions, additional hotkeys, and more inventory-sorting methods.

Mass Effect 3: Resurgence Pack DLC launches on Live, Origin, PSN
Mass Effect 3: Resurgence Pack, the content DLC release announced last week, is now available for the 360, PC, and PS3. The pack includes two new maps, six new unlockable characters, three new weapons, and four new consumables.

Zen Studios announces Zen Pinball 2 for PS3, PS Vita
Zen Studios will be expanding their PlayStation line soon with Zen Pinball 2 for the PS3 and PS Vita. Functioning as a platform for future table releases, similar to Pinball FX2 for the 360, Zen Pinball 2 will be a free update for owners of Zen Pinball and Marvel Pinball, updating table physics and adding new trophies and support for a new social network system with Facebook integration.

Mass Effect 3 to get free Extended Cut DLC this summer
The Normandy crew isn’t finished with their journey just yet. A new free DLC pack was announced today, Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut, to address some of the concerns voiced over the ending. According to BioWare, Extended Cut will “expand upon the events at the end” via “additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes.” The pack is set to launch this summer for 360, PC, and PS3.
