Battlefield 1: Revolution bundle out for console, PC

Battlefield 1: Revolution is now available. The all-in-one bundle contains the base game as well as the four themed packs from the Premium Pass. Only the first of those packs is available, however. The remaining will be downloadable as they are released, with the next, In the Name of the Tsar, slated for early September. The first map from it, Lupkow Pass, went live today. The game’s next competitive mode, the five-versus-five Incursions, is also progressing. The released note that it is “being developed in collaboration with players, and optimized for competition,” and will enter closed alpha early next month. The alpha will take place on a modified version of Giant’s Shadow, and offer players access to eight different kits (Trench Surgeon, Control Leader, AT Assault, Battle Mechanic, Mortar Support, Raid Leader, Shock Assault, Proximity Recon) along with performance-based loadouts. Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition coming this September

Fallout 4 will be returning with an all-in-one bundle as Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition. The set will feature all of the updates, including Survival mode, enhanced visuals, the ability to play Mods, and all six downloadable packs. The latter adds new areas, objects, and enemies with Nuka-World, Vault-Tec Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, Far Harbor, Wasteland Workshop and Automatron. The studio is also planning on releasing a limited quantity of Game of the Year Pip-Boy collector editions for $99.99 at select retailers.

Sega releases lengthy schedule of free DLC for Yakuza Kiwami

Yakuza Kiwami’s impending release date means it’s time for DLC news. Sega has released a full schedule for the game’s upcoming downloadable content, which includes accessories, items, outfits, and weapons. And these aren’t for-pay drops, either, as The Dragon of Dojima will be bestowed with plenty of freebies. Packs are scheduled to go live throughout September, and will also feature goodies for Goro Majima as well, including a snakeskin jacket outfit, and extra parts for Pocket Circuit racing. Players will be able to get the bonuses from the enigmatic clown Bob Utsunomiya.

Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition launches digitally for console, PC

The all-in-one bundle Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition has been released digitally for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The set adds everything from Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition to the base game: Scorch Titan, Ion Prime Titans, and Titan Warpaints. Also included is the Jump Start Pack, which adds all Titans and Pilot Tacticals, 500 tokens (to redeem on loadouts, cosmetics, and gear), ten 2XP tokens, and the Underground R-201 Carbine Warpaint. All post-launch DLC is also downloadable for free.

August Update adds remade maps, tweaks to Gears of War 4

Earlier today, Gears of War 4 received its August Update. The download features a number of additions and changes, including two maps, Forge Blitz and Canals. The former is described as “a tighter, faster pace evolution of the map Forge,” set in a factory damaged by a Windflare, while the latter returns from the original Gears of War complete with its triple bridge. Summer of Gears is also continuing with a boost to the First Win of the Day Credit Bonus so that every first kill throughout August will be worth 500 Credits. The second season of the Gears Pro Circuit is also looming, and the studio is making Escalation Ring placement improvements to Diner, Impact, Lift, and The Slab, which are said to have been “crafted with our Pro Players at a recent studio playtest.” Also, this month’s Craftable Character is Classic Commando Dom, and joining him are a new Horde variant on August 18 and Classic One Shot One Kill on Canals on August 25.

Final Fantasy XV gets Magitek Exosuits, new quest in July update

The latest free monthly download has gone live for Final Fantasy XV. The July update adds Magitek Exosuits for Noctis and friends, granting 30 minutes of invincibility per day, along with a new quest (O Partner, My Partner) set after Chapter 8. Additionally, the crew can now engage the Cross Chain collaboration system to damage defensive-minded enemies by using linked attacks. Moogle Chocobo Carnival has also returned, allowing players to take part in mini-games, including Chocobo water races, and pick up special Moogle Chocobo menu items at the Square Enix Cafe until late September. Accessing the carnival requires owning the free FFXV Holiday Pack or for-pay FFXV Holiday Pack +. Eliza, Taiko No Tatsujin-themed accessories added to Tekken 7

A new fighter has joined Tekken 7’s roster today: Eliza. Skipping the queue to beat upcoming downloadable character Geese Howard out of the gate, Eliza brings a unique background along with her vampiric abilities. Players looking to customize their experience will also find several Taiko No Tatsujin-themed items on offer, ranging from outfits to health gauge skins. North American players will be more familiar with its localized title, Taiko: Drum Master. Look at that picture above, how can anyone resist adding that to their outfit?

Halo Wars 2 – Serina, Operation: Spearbreaker out for PC, Xbox One

Halo Wars 2 received two new downloadable drops today, Serina and Operation: Spearbreaker. The first pack features Serina, the UNSC Spirit of Fire’s AI from the original Halo Wars, while the second expands the campaign with two additional missions. Serina returns in full form, despite her unfortunate fate, while the story missions expand on the main game’s plot, as players take charge of a hero squad of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers against the Banished.

Gundam Versus preorder extras detailed, to get open beta soon

Bandai Namco will be letting players try their hand at Gundam Versus before its September release via an open beta. The beta is going live later this summer, though the exact date has yet to be determined, and will focus on online multiplayer. Additionally, players who pre-order are also set to receive three bonus downloadable extras: N-876 ß Hot Scramble Gundam, ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos Lupus, and GN-005 Gundam Virtue.

Tekken 7 gets the Fatal Fury touch with Geese Howard DLC
