The all-in-one bundle Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition has been released digitally for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The set adds everything from Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition to the base game: Scorch Titan, Ion Prime Titans, and Titan Warpaints. Also included is the Jump Start Pack, which adds all Titans and Pilot Tacticals, 500 tokens (to redeem on loadouts, cosmetics, and gear), ten 2XP tokens, and the Underground R-201 Carbine Warpaint. All post-launch DLC is also downloadable for free.
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun has made its way to console with an optimized release for PS4 and Xbox One. Set during Japan’s Edo period, the real-time strategy title is described as “a hardcore tactical stealth game” where players take charge of five specialist characters to lead through a series of missions. To get a better look at the game, Kalypso and Daedalic have released both a new gameplay trailer as well as a demo for both systems.
Larian has released a new video update for Kickstarter touching on several of the new features being added to Divinity: Original Sin 2. The studio also confirmed that the PC version will sport controller and split-screen support, allowing for more co-op opportunities. Other features mentioned include skill crafting with elemental and non-elemental books, Source Skills to talk with the spirits or absorb the powers of deceased characters, and Rune Crafting for enhancing weapons and gear.
Earlier today, Gears of War 4 received its August Update. The download features a number of additions and changes, including two maps, Forge Blitz and Canals. The former is described as “a tighter, faster pace evolution of the map Forge,” set in a factory damaged by a Windflare, while the latter returns from the original Gears of War complete with its triple bridge. Summer of Gears is also continuing with a boost to the First Win of the Day Credit Bonus so that every first kill throughout August will be worth 500 Credits. The second season of the Gears Pro Circuit is also looming, and the studio is making Escalation Ring placement improvements to Diner, Impact, Lift, and The Slab, which are said to have been “crafted with our Pro Players at a recent studio playtest.” Also, this month’s Craftable Character is Classic Commando Dom, and joining him are a new Horde variant on August 18 and Classic One Shot One Kill on Canals on August 25.
Current-gen gamers will soon be able to experience an updated port of the original Resident Evil Revelations. Seen as a return to form, Revelations follows Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they investigate the infested cruise liner Queen Zenobia. The new version will feature 1920×1080 resolution, an improved framerate, greater environmental detail, refined creature movement, and all previously released downloadable content as unlockable rewards. Raid Mode will also return with online support, along with The Ghost Ship: Chaos, a revamped stage with more powerful weapons, additional upgrade possibilities, and different enemy placement. This version is also going to support four different control schemes, based on titles from throughout the series. Switch owners aren’t being left out, either, as a Revelations 1 and 2 bundle is slated to hit the console in the near future.
