Utawarerumono: Mask Of Deception’s sequel, Mask of Truth, is slated to be released on September 5. Set shortly after the events in Mask of Deception, the story follows returning characters who must create an alliance between fractious kingdoms in order to stave off the armies of the Yamato Empire. As with its predecessor, the story will play out with visual-novel-style cutscenes while combat will retain the turn- and elemental-based system. It will also feature the original Japanese audio throughout its estimated 80-plus-hour-long campaign.
Turn 10 and Microsoft have announced that the Forza Racing Championship (ForzaRC) Season 3: The Porsche Cup Elite finals are set to take place in France during the 24 Hours of Le Mans, from June 17-18. To celebrate its inclusion, the creator and organizer of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), has made a new category for esports, suitably titled the Official Endurance Esports Category. The winner of the ForzaRC finals will receive their trophy on the same podium as the Le Mans drivers. The race is open to both Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 6. Gamers can watch a livestream of the event on Twitch and Youtube.

As mentioned yesterday, Bungie hosted a livestream event today debuting gameplay from Destiny 2. The story will allow players to once again don the armor of a Guardian, solo or with a friend, this time to take down the Red Legion. But the stream emphasized that players do not need previous experience with the series to follow the story. Given that it will be available for PC, and on Battle.Net at that, the game is being represented as a fresh start. Two features were also revealed, Guided Games and Countdown. The former allows players to search for teammates to tackle activities without having a set group, absent in some modes in Destiny, while the latter is a new competitive mode. A host of new screenshots have been released showing some of the content covered and can be found below.
