Persona 5 DLC detailed in full date, price list for PS3, PS4

Atlus has sent along a complete list of the downloadable content for Persona 5. Note that not all downloads, notably themes, are compatible across the PS3 and Ps4. Highlights include Catherine-themed clothes and a set inspired by the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado from Shin Megami Tensei IV. Also note that it’s a lengthy table and kind of messy in our layout. But sometimes life’s messy, am I right?

Destiny 2 announced for console, PC, launching September

After their extended livestream event for Destiny’s final downloadable pack, Age of Destiny, Bungie has officially announced Destiny 2 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A reveal trailer was also released, Rally the Troops, offering a look at the sequel’s storyline. Players will once again take on the role of a Guardian, now with new abilities and weapons, in order to save humanity after the last city falls to a new enemy known as the Red Legion. The trailer features two Vanguards calling the Guardians to retake the planet, setting them off on missions to new areas throughout the solar system. As with the original, the game will include co-op, competitive, and solo modes. Bungie is set to premier hands-on gameplay on May 18 during a livestream on their Twitch channel. A beta will also kick off later this summer.

Beamdog developing Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition

Beamdog has announced that they are updating another classic PC role-playing game, Planescape: Torment. Longtime fans should also be happy to hear that the studio is also teaming up with Chris Avellone, the original title’s lead designer, for Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition. The 50-hour-plus journey will be spruced up with a 4K interface, tab highlighting, quick looting, area zooming, a combat log, and a remastered soundtrack. Lingering bugs will also be addressed, and added gameplay updates will be optional for those that prefer the original release.

Yu steals powers, tricks turrets in Prey trailer Playing with Powers

The Prey video train rolls along with a new video covering the alien and human abilities available to the player. Playing with Powers is over four minutes long, and features members of the development team demonstrating and detailing Morgan Yu’s expanding repertoire of superhuman feats that are unlocked as they explore Talos I. Eventually, players will be able to gain the ability to aim with greater precision, slow down time, steal alien abilities, and of course, set things on fire. There is a downside to absorbing alien abilities, though, as the station’s turrets will mark the player as an intruder.

Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition on PSN for PS4

Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition has been released for PS4. The title is a remake of a PS2 release, updated with improved visuals and trophy support. As a village newcomer, players must build and run a farm as well as establish a family and make friends. The release is a part of Natsume’s ongoing year-long celebration for the series’ 20th anniversary. The company is also releasing older entries as Classics on PSN, updating a site dedicated to the series, and taking part in a Throwback Thursday promotion on Instagram to show localization document and magazine scans.

Screenshots, trailer released from Disgaea 5 Complete (dood!)

The Prinnies are on media duty this week with the release of new screens and the opening cinematic from Disgaea 5 Complete. They’ve apparently been brushing up on their web design skills, too, as the game now has an official website. The bundled re-release features the original game along with eight bonus scenarios, four extra characters, and three additional character classes.

Prey’s weapon and skill combos highlighted in new trailer

Prey’s trailer line has covered the aliens, then the protagonist, and now, it’s time to check out the weaponry and how it ties into the alien skills. The latest video, Weapons and Power Combos, features the numerous abilities, weapon combinations, and tools that Morgan has at his (or her) disposal. Things are burned, transformed, electrified, and destroyed in a variety of creative ways similar to Arkane’s Dishonored series. Is there a gloo cannon? Yes, there’s a gloo cannon.

Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception’s mercenary, Ukon, gets a trailer

Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception’s cast gets a bit deadlier today with the addition of a suave mercenary, Ukon. The fighter-for-hire signs on to help escort Haku and Kuon, but given his affable nature, ends up serving as a mentor. Dark Souls III – The Ringed City out, The Fire Fades Edition revealed

Dark Souls III’s final piece of downloadable content, The Ringed City, has been released for console and PC. In their last adventure, players pursue the Slave Knight Gael as he hunts down the Dark Soul of Humanity. The world is ending, and as the player journeys through a land in chaos, they will fight ancient beasts, find new armor and weapons, and encounter strange characters in the fabled city. An update to Undead Match, downloadable for owners of either DLC pack, also adds two maps and the ability to link up with two other players. Also announced is an all-in-one physical release for console, Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition. Launching on April 21, The Fire Fades will include the base game along with both Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City for $49.99.

Final Fantasy XV – Episode Gladiolus, March Update released

Final Fantasy XV’s first character-focused downloadable pack has been released. Episode Gladiolus adds a new storyline from the perspective of Noctis’ friend Gladiolus, set during the period when he disappears from the main campaign in a new area of Eos. He has access to a Valor and Rage system that utilizes a style based around blocking and counterattacking, and gains access to special items that can be carried back over to the main game. After completing the episode, players will also be able to access two new modes: Final Trial and Score Attack. A second, free update adds cutscenes to improve Chapter 13 as well as an additional route for players to take, along with new magic and extra areas.
