Bethesda details, gets some help with QuakeCon’s Table Top Village

Bethesda has announced that Common Ground Games has signed on to assist with the new Table Top Village at this year’s QuakeCon. Tabletop gaming will make a strong debut this year with room for vendors, events, including demonstrations and contests, and play areas. DFW Nerd Night will be helping Common Ground to host several events at the convention for players of all skill levels.

Several title-specific events will take place throughout the weekend. A Friday Night Magic event on July 18 at 7:00 p.m. (CST) will celebrate the release of the 2015 Magic the Gathering Core Set (M15) with a sealed event, allowing players of all skill levels to join in, and other M15 drafts will take place throughout the convention when at least eight participants want to join. Ticket to Ride players will also be able to join a tournament on Saturday as well as sign up to win a copy of the the 10th anniversary edition. There will also be vendors, demos, and staff to teach new players the rules for the various games on display.

The play area will be open 24 hours a day as of noon on Thursday, July 17th all the way through noon on Sunday, July 20th.

Friday, July 18th:                  10:00am – Midnight
Saturday, July 19th:              10:00am – Midnight
