Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call will be hitting store shelves on September 16. Square Enix also announced that a $69.99 Collector’s Edition will be available alongside the $39.99 standard edition. The premium release is limited to 5,000 copies and will include a branded Collector’s Pouch, a 20-track soundtrack (The Best of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call), a five-track remixed soundtrack (Remix Selections), and five CollectaCards. The set is only available through Square Enix Online Store. Additionally, a pre-order bonus from Amazon was also announced, with early buyers receiving an upgrade to a Limited Edition version of the game that comes bundled with the Remix Selections CD.
A note of warning for those wanting the Collector’s Edition, Digital River, the company that actually runs the online store, is pretty bad. Be prepared for canceled orders, broken links, a byzantine support system, and nonexistent confirmation emails. Fingers crossed everyone gets their orders.
