Drakengard 3 received several downloadable packs today, adding new missions, music, and costumes. Fans of the original will be able to reduce damage taken by 5% in Furiae’s Garb for $2.99, while fans of Drakengard 2 can reduce stamina loss by sporting the Eris’s Garb pack for $2.99. A music pack for $1.99, the Intoner Arrange Tracks, replaces the tunes played while Zero is in Intoner Mode. The biggest additions are the five Sister Prologues. Each $5.99 chapter (Zero, Two, Three, Four, and Five) includes a playable level and unique weapons, while a $29.99 bundle includes all five plus a bonus prologue for One.

Drakengard 3 is available online and in stores for PS3.

A prequel to the original 2004 installment, Drakengard 3 transports players to a medieval world where six goddess-like sisters, known as “Intoners,” have brought peace to the earth using the power of magic manipulation through song. However, harmony is disrupted when eldest sister Zero attempts to murder her younger sisters with the help of her dragon companion, Mikhail. With the story progressing through many twists and turns, players will find themselves unraveling the mystery of Zero and her true intentions. Drakengard 3 comes filled with high-octane hack-and-slash ground combat, as well as aerial battle stages alongside Mikhail, as players take on hordes of enemies and monsters alike.
