The third download pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts, Invasion, has launched for 360 and Xbox One. The add-on includes four multiplayer maps, including a new version of Call of Duty 2’s Favela; the next and penultimate episode in the Extinction storyline, Awakening; and a host of new Field Orders. Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call will be hitting store shelves on September 16. Square Enix also announced that a $69.99 Collector’s Edition will be available alongside the $39.99 standard edition. The premium release is limited to 5,000 copies and will include a branded Collector’s Pouch, a 20-track soundtrack (The Best of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call), a five-track remixed soundtrack (Remix Selections), and five CollectaCards. The set is only available through Square Enix Online Store. Additionally, a pre-order bonus from Amazon was also announced, with early buyers receiving an upgrade to a Limited Edition version of the game that comes bundled with the Remix Selections CD.
Warner Bros. Interactive has released a new trailer showing off the Batmobile from the upcoming Arkham finale by Rocksteady, Batman: Arkham Knight. The Batmobile Battle Mode Reveal Trailer details the combat mode’s loadout as it transforms for combat, pointing out all the guns, rockets, and gadgets that players will get to use in their battle for Gotham. A few action shots were also released for good measure.
Natsume has announced that they will be bringing a new Harvest Moon to the 3DS later this year. Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley will again feature the farming and role-playing elements of its predecessors, as well as be the first 3D entry in the series. Customization will also be a focus, with players (slash farmers slash adventurers) capable of personalizing the world and fields. Additional details will be revealed at E3.
Capcom has announced that Ultra Street Fighter IV has launched for 360 and PS3. The downloadable upgrade is available for $14.99 for Super Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. Ultra adds Decapre, Elena, Hugo, Poison, and Rolento to the roster, six new levels, Training Mode Fight Request to practice between fights, Offline Battle Log for saving offline battle replays, Edition Select to choose which version of a character is preferred, Double Ultra option for access to weaker versions of both ultras, Red Focus attacks, and more. Physical retail releases will launch on August 5 for both consoles.
Drakengard 3 received several downloadable packs today, adding new missions, music, and costumes. Fans of the original will be able to reduce damage taken by 5% in Furiae’s Garb for $2.99, while fans of Drakengard 2 can reduce stamina loss by sporting the Eris’s Garb pack for $2.99. A music pack for $1.99, the Intoner Arrange Tracks, replaces the tunes played while Zero is in Intoner Mode. The biggest additions are the five Sister Prologues. Each $5.99 chapter (Zero, Two, Three, Four, and Five) includes a playable level and unique weapons, while a $29.99 bundle includes all five plus a bonus prologue for One.
