Evil forces are once again in need of smiting today with the launch of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. The expansion adds the new Crusader hero, who joins the Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor, and Wizard from the original release, a new increased level cap (70), randomized Bounty challenges, the Mystic artisan for more loot customization, randomized dungeons within the Nephalem Rifts, and a new Adventure Mode for free exploration. Act V will have players facing off against Malthael, the Angel of Death. In anticipation of Reader of Souls, a new update went live for the base game, which revamped the loot system, increased the number of options for forming Clans and Communities, and expanded the Paragon progression system.
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls is available as a Standard Edition in stores and online for $39.99, as a Digital Deluxe Edition online for $59.99, and as a Collector’s Edition in stores for $79.99. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the game, the Treasure Goblin pet for World of Warcraft, StarCraft III Crusader-themed portraits and Malthael-themed decals for Battle.net, a Spectral Hound minion for Reaper of Souls, and exclusive helm- and weapon-transmogrification recipes. The Collector’s Edition includes all of the preceding content as well as a Blu-ray/DVD two-disc set of behind-the-scenes footage, a full-cover hardcore art book, and a Malthael-themed mouse pad. All versions include one or more Expert Card Packs for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.
