The new plasma-scarf-sporting Hiryu is hitting the streets of Kazakh City today with the release of Strider. The Double Helix-developed entry continues the series’ style of fast-paced, side-scrolling combat, as Hiryu bounces and dashes around obstacles and slices his way through enemies. In addition to the story, players will also be able to tackle Beacon Run, a speed-run-style mode, and the wave-based Survival Mode.

Capcom is also hosting several videos covering the history of the series and the making of the latest title at Capcom Unity.

Strider is a download-only release available for $14.99 for 360, PS3, PS4, and Xbox One. The PC version will launch tomorrow on Steam.
