A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix has been made available from Square Enix. Released during the Jump Festa in Japan, the trailer continues the story after the end of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix showing a variety of characters, including Sora, Riku, and Hercules, in the updated engine. A dozen new screenshots have also been posted.
Another franchise from THQ’s library is being revived shortly, courtesy of Nordic Games. The Vienna-based studio has announced that it plans on releasing a new entry in the MX vs. ATV series, titled MX vs. ATV Supercross, next year for 360, PC (Linux, Mac, and Windows), and PS3. The development team, comprised of new members and series veterans, is using existing code from MX vs. ATV Alive and MX vs. ATV Reflex for quicker integration of popular features from those, such as Motoclub Depot and multiplayer, alongside new content.
Square Enix has released over a dozen new screenshots and an announcement trailer for Drakengard 3. The prequel to Drakengard, which is itself a predecessor to the fantastic Nier, is available today in Japan and will be released next year in North America. Check out the new material for dragon combat, flowers protruding out of eye sockets, and more.

Commanders on the go can now keep up with the action on the front with the release of Panzer Corps for iPad. The Panzer General-inspired wargame, from developers The Lordz Games Studios and Flashback Games, features 800-plus units, 30 countries, cross-platform multiplayer, and DLC packs that include the Afrika Korps expansion and Grand Campaign scenarios.
Operation Broken Eagle, Dead Rising 3’s first downloadable episode, has been delayed until 2014. Originally scheduled to launch on December 24, players will now have to wait until January 21 to save the President from the undead hordes. According to the release, the decision to push back the launch date was “to ensure we provide the best possible experience for players” by “putting a few additional weeks of polish and testing into the episode before it’s released.”
Crytek’s Roman-themed action title Ryse has received two DLC packs today, one free and the other for pay. The bonus download is for two new level events for Gladiator Mode, one featuring a random turret that will need to be destroyed and another cause single-use, stat-boosting Reward Statues to appear. The for-pay drop, the Colosseum Pack, includes two new character skins (Commodus and Centurion) and two new arenas (Henge and Ascension) for $3.99. Check below for shots of the new stages and armor.
