The PC version of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag has gone gold, according to Ubisoft. Gamers will have the chance to buy it in one of three versions: Standard, Deluxe Edition (bonus locations, items, and adventure featuring Liberation’s Aveline), or Uplay Deluxe Edition (all of the Deluxe Edition’s content as well as the Pride of the West Indies pack). The standard and deluxe editions will be available in stores and online, while the Uplay release is online only as it is exclusive to Ubisoft’s digital outlet. It was also noted that Nvidia card users will also have access to special features, such as God Rays, percentage-closer soft shadows, and temporal anti-aliasing. Several GeForce cards (list) have been bundled with digital copies of both Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Black Flag.
A Season Pass is also available, and gamers who pre-order the Uplay Deluxe Edition will receive 25 percent off the Season Pass, which itself represents a 20 percent savings over purchasing each pack individually. The first DLC drop is set to launch next March.
Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag is available for 360, PS3, and Wii U, and is set to launch on November 19 for PC. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will launch alongside their respective systems.
