Sega will be releasing a free update for Relic’s Company of Heroes 2 next week. The studio announced that the pack, Turning Point, will go live on November 12 and include the World Builder multiplayer map editor, two new multiplayer maps (Rails and Metal, Lazur Factory), public chat lobbies, and two new multiplayer commanders for each faction. Relic will be demoing the new maps on their Twitch TV channel tomorrow, and the World Builder on the following day.
Electronic Arts has announced that the next-gen version of Need for Speed Rivals will be arriving ahead of schedule and hitting store shelves (and PSN) alongside the PS4, on November 15. Rivals will support Remote Play, which will allow gamers to begin races on their PS4 and end them on their PS Vita, or vice versa. The Frostbite 3-powered racer will allow players to take to the streets as a racer on the run from the law or as the pursuing police. The game will boast day and night cycles, weather effects, and different progression paths that have their own vehicles and unlocks.
Microsoft has announced the post-launch support Turn 10 has in store for Forza Motorsport 5. A total of six 10-car packs are scheduled for release, with the first pack launching on November 22, and the rest following on a monthly basic from January through May. The first out the gate, the LaFerrari Car Pack, will launch alongside the Xbox One and include the rare titular hypercar. More info on the remaining cars in the inaugural pack will be revealed on November 18.
