Naruto returns to gaming today with Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst for 360 and PS3. This is an expanded version of Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, released earlier this year, and includes a new chapter, featuring Sasuke and Itachi; a new playable character (Kabuto in Sage mode in Free Play Mode off and online); revamped cutscenes; and 100 new missions. The standalone version runs $39.99, while owners of the original release can access the new content by purchasing a $9.99 upgrade pack on Live Marketplace and PSN.
Gamers looking forward to Respawn Entertainment’s debut won’t have much longer to wait, as EA has revealed that Titanfall will launch on March 11. It was also announced that the 360, PC, and Xbox One versions will receive a Collector’s Edition. Priced at an eyebrow-raising $249.99, the premium set will include an 18” statue of an Atlas titan (complete with LED lighting), an 190-page art book, and a poster featuring the Atlas’ schematics. The standard release and the Collector’s Edition are scheduled to launch at the same time.
A new story trailer has been released for Killzone: Shadow Fall. The PS4 launch title, developed by series creator Guerilla Games, is set 30 years after Killzone 3. The two-and-a-half-minute trailer details the current state of affairs between the Helghast, Vektans, and ISA. After the ruin of Helghan, the remaining Helghast have been resettled on Vekta, separated from the Vektans by ISA security. The world is on the verge of war as each side gears up to battle over supremacy of the planet.
