Work continues on Soldak’s excellent space-based action-RPG Drox Operative, and now players can download the latest update: patch 1.029. Recent updates have continued to refine the base system as well as add support for controllers, and the latest patch follows suit. Some of the tweaks include trap damage increased by 50%, new warnings for mandatory quests, and Trade Pacts visible when race icons are highlighted. Aksys Games has announced that they have lowered the price of Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward to $29.99. The puzzle-filled adventure-style visual novel is a follow-up to 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors for 3DS, and it is available for both 3DS and PS Vita. The price drop is in effect across both platforms.
In anticipation of Call of Duty: Ghosts’ release early next month, Activision has released a new gameplay launch trailer. (Note: there’s a surprising amount of Eminem.) In Ghosts, players follow a squad of soldiers who are on the front lines in a war against an ascending superpower as America struggles to recover from recent attacks.
