Some new screens have been released from Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness. D2 sees the return of Laharl, Etna, and Flonne, and as a bonus, early buyers will be able to snag three extras: a two-disc sountrack, a graphic print, and a costume DLC pack for the three main characters. The costume pack is actually a freebie for everyone that will be available to download at no cost for the first 30 days from launch. The latest batch shows more of the turn-based wackiness that’s in store for gamers when D2 launches on October 8.
A new update has launched for the Android and iOS versions of Samurai Shodown II. The free download adds the new Training Mode to both versions, and the Android version also receives support for the MOGA controller. To celebrate the update, SNK has lowered the game’s price by 50% to $3.99 for a limited time.
Deep Silver has announced that Metro: Last Light’s third DLC drop, Developer Pack, will be available on September 17 for 360, PC, and PS3. The pack will include a new solo mission, The Spider-Nest, which will require that players clear a catacomb of spiders using the lighter, torches, and the new Flamethrower. In addition, there will also be three new areas to utilize: a Shooting Range, where players can compete in marksman challenges with all gun and attachment combinations; an AI Arena, in which customizable squads of human soldiers and mutants face off in challenges; and a Metro Museum, where players can learn more about the characters and their mutant enemies.
SNK Playmore’s 2D versus fighter The King of Fighters-A 2012 has launched for Android.
