Capcom has announced the release dates for Way Forward’s upcoming DuckTales updated re-release, DuckTales: Remastered. There are actually two different release dates for the download-only title: August 13 for the PC, PS3, and Wii U versions and September 11 for the 360 version. The game is an update to the 1989 NES original, with the 8-bit graphics replaced with hand-drawn and animated sprites and the original voice cast reprising their roles. A new tutorial level is also being added.
Overkill’s follow-up to their Heat-styled shooter Payday: The Heist, Payday 2, is now available for 360, PC, and PS3. As one of the four-member Payday crew, players will pull off a series of dangerous heists using the new Crime.net system. The sequel features four skill trees (Enforcer, Ghost, Mastermind, and Tactician), a weapon-modification system, and a new mask creator.
Spiders Studios’ off-world cyberpunk action-RPG Mars War Logs is now available on PSN. As Roy Temperance, players must craft, battle, cajole and connive their way through an adventure filled with powerful factions who are set to tear the Red Planet apart for the remaining water reserves. Players are able to pick from a variety of skill trees to create a character proficient in three categories—combat, renegade, and techomat—to battle mutants, zealots, and corporate henchmen.
The final act in the Daud saga, and the final add-on for Dishonored, is available today with the release of The Brigmore Witches. The pack, now on Live Marketplace and Steam, and later today on PSN, sees Daud on the hunt for the leader of the Brigmore Witch coven, Delilah. He must work with feuding gangs the Dead Eels and the Hatters in order to get closer to the coven before eventually facing off against Dishonored’s protagonist, Corvo Attano. All spells and abilities unlocked in The Knife of Dunwall will carry over as well.
