A new trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain premiered at E3 earlier today. The next installment in the long-running franchise will be available for 360, PS3, PS4, and Xbox One, but the footage is from a next-gen version. The nine-minute-plus video posted is the red-band director’s cut, which includes additional material and graphical content. The trailer gives a glimpse at what Kojima Productions has in store for fans of the series: an open world, real-time weather, large environments, realistic passage of time, and horses. Some very brave horses. Ten new screens have also been posted.
Gamers looking to catch up on the series can grab Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection this July for PS3, which includes Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid 3: HD Edition (with MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2), Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition, and Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is slated to launch for 360, PS3, PS4, and Xbox One.
