Focus Home has released the first batch of screenshots from Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments. The follow-up to The Testament, currently in development at Frogwares, will feature eight cases, 14 gameplay mechanics, crime scene reconstructions, and moral choices. More details will be revealed during E3, but before then, get a glimpse at what’s in store for Holmes and Watson.
More E3 goodies from Square Enix today with a new trailer from Edios Montreal’s upcoming Thief reboot. Master thief Garrett will return next year in a new adventure for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, though the trailer, unfortunately, doesn’t show him in action. E3 attendees can learn more by checking out Square Enix’s booth (#1647) in South Hall.
Atlus has announced a handful of day-one DLC drops for Shin Megami Tensei IV. The packs, detailed below, include new armor, new maps, and the ability to change hairstyles. The set is a mixture of free, free during the launch window, and for-pay downloads. Atlus noted that more DLC is in the cards, and that additional information will be revealed closer to launch.
Square Enix has released a new E3 gameplay trailer and five new screenshots from the recently announced Deus Ex: The Fall. The mobile- and tablet-only release is a follow-up to the novel Deus Ex: Icarus Effect. The story follows ex-SAS mercenary Ben Saxon in his attempts to topple a global conspiracy that threatens all augmented humans.
Atlus has announced their first PS4 title, Daylight. The Unreal Engine 4-powered psychological thriller, currently in development at Zombie Studios, is slated to come out early next year as a download-only release for PC and PS4. The game will feature an amnesiatic protagonist who awakens to find themselves in a haunted asylum, with no weapons and only their cell phone to light their way. Procedurally generated levels will switch up each playthrough so that level layout as well as item and enemy placement are different each time.
