A special version of Armored Core: Verdict Day for PlayStation 3 is now available for pre-order at clubNamco. The $149.99 premium release will include a copy of the game, the soundtrack, an art book, and a limited edition figurine of an Armored Core unit. Currently in development at series creator FromSoftware, Verdict Day will allow players to form squads of up to 20 combatants and enlist non-playable factions to battle for territory in a massive war that takes place on an off- or online persistent world.
Bethesda is getting into the E3 spirit with a new trailer and some new screens from MachineGames’ upcoming Wolfenstein reboot, The New Order. The trailer features in-game footage as well as a glimpse at the alternate timeline that sees B.J. Blazkowicz facing off against a victories, entrenched Reich in 1960.
Console gamers looking to give Diablo III a go will get their chance later this summer as Blizzard has revealed September 3 as the final release date. It was also announced that the PS3 version will launch alongside an Xbox 360 version. Both releases will include all of the updates and tweaks made to the PC version since launch, as well as redesigned control schemes that include a dynamic camera and a new interface for easier gamepad play. Up to four players will be able to group up locally or online, which includes the ability to have mixed parties of both local and online players.
