Crytek is going back to the jungle next week with the latest DLC pack for Crysis 3, The Lost Island. After traces of an alien presence are found in the West Pacific, rebel forces are dispatched to destroy the object before Cell troops can retrieve it. The multiplayer-focused drop will include four new maps set on a small island in the Philippines, new weapons, and two new modes, Frenzy and Possession.
Tales fans looking forward to Tales of Xillia will be able to snag an early run Limited Edition. Similar to how Atlus and NIS America bundle goodies with the first print run of their games, Namco Bandai will be including several bonuses with the first-run copies of the standard $59.99 release: a character profile booklet, a soundtrack, and two downloadable costumes. A pre-order will guarantee a Limited Edition copy, and those who have already pre-ordered the standard version will have their order automatically upgraded.
The legalese is about to come fast and furious at iOS gamers now that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD collection has launched on the App Store for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. The set includes the first three games in the series (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations) with upgraded visuals. As defense attorney Phoenix Wright, players will be able to cross-examine witnesses as well as gather and examine evidence.
Atlus has announced that Vanillaware’s upcoming beat ‘em up Dragon’s Crown will come with free launch DLC. The pack will replace the original narrator with one of the six characters—Amazon, Dwarf, Elf, Fighter, Sorceress, or Wizard—depending on the player’s preference. The pack is free only for the first month, after which it will cost $1.99 to download.
