Techland, the busy developer behind the recently released Dead Island: Riptide and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, is currently at work on a new survival-horror title, Dying Light. According to publisher Warner Bros. Interactive, the game will center around a day-and-night cycle that will allow players to explore a relatively safe world during the day, free to scavenge and craft weapons, but pit them against predators and infected humans at night. A free-running mechanic was also mentioned as a prominent way for players to traverse the game’s dynamic open world.

Dying Light is scheduled to launch in 2014 for PC, 360, PS3, PS4, and Xbox One.
