Two new Batman titles will be launching later this year, according to Warner Bros. Interactive. The two titles split along console lines, with Batman: Arkham Origins slated to ship for 360, PC, PS3, and Wii U, and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate for 3DS and PS Vita.

Arkham Origins, in development at WB Games Montreal, is a prequel to Asylum and City, set during a stage of Batman’s life when he’s still becoming the seasoned caped crusader seen in Rocksteady’s releases. Arkham City Origins Blackgate is a 2.5D companion title to the home console version that will reveal more about Batman’s past. Blackgate is currently in development at Armature Studio.

Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate are both scheduled to hit store shelves on October 25.
