The new Shogun collection, Total War: Shogun 2 Gold Edition, has hit store shelves. The set includes the original title, Shogun 2, as well as its two expansions, Rise of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai. The various downloadable clan packs are not included.
Rise of the Samurai includes three new families, 16 new land units, four new Hero units, 10 new naval units, and four new agent types. Fall of the Samurai is a more significant update, with a larger and tweaked campaign map, new building and tech trees that introduce railways and naval bombardments, 39 new units, 10 new ship types, and three new agent types.
