A post-launch update has been announced for the Wii U version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Capcom stated that the patch is a result of fan feedback and will add support for cross-region functionality—compatible with North American and European versions of the game—and off-TV direct play for the GamePad.

The update will join other post-launch downloadable content, including free quests.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be available on March 19 for 3DS and Wii U in stores and on eShop.
