A new adventure beckons on the 3DS today with the release of Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan. Estimated to clock in at over 30 hours, Atlus’ latest handheld quest for glory features character customization, upgradeable skyships, touchscreen support for map charting, and of course, plenty of first-person dungeon-crawling. There is also a new casual play option for those who aren’t familiar with the series’ traditional brand of fist-to-your-face difficulty. This is also the first in the series to offer extra items via QR codes that Atlus has scattered around their various sites—check out their Facebook page for a few to get started.

Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan is available in stores and online through eShop. All launch and pre-order retail copies are packed with an art book and soundtrack.
