Blizzard details StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm launch events
The Zerg know how to do two things, swarm outposts and party. The latter is a little-known fact, but come March 11, they will be doing plenty of both with the launch of StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. Blizzard will be holding several parties around the globe to celebrate the release, with festivities planned in the US, Australia, France, Russia, South Korea, and elsewhere. Each location will host Blizzard staff who will be on-hand to greet fans. The official US party will be at the GameStop in Irvine, California, located at The Great Wheel Court of the Irvine Spectrum Mall, 71 Fortune Drive.

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment on PSN, Sony looking into PSP, Vita fix
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, the last remaining Persona to not be available online, has launched on PSN. Up until today, Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 4 Golden have all been available to download, and now fans of the series can complete the set for $9.99. Eternal Punishment is the companion follow-up to Innocent Sin, set after its predecessor in a parallel world featuring the same characters and events but otherwise unrelated.

Gears of War: Judgment – Season Pass extras, Maxim freebies, more
Microsoft has announced that the Season Pass for Gears of War: Judgment will come with a handful of extras. The 1600 MS Point pass not only represents a 20% discount for entire range of DLC, but it will also include a permanent double XP boost, early access to upcoming multiplayer maps, five exclusive weapon skins, and four exclusive armor skins. The two announced drops will consist of six maps, two new modes, and new weapon and armor skins.
