The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Hearthfire DLC launches for PS3
PlayStation 3 owners looking to make Skyrim a bit homier will be able to set down roots today with the launch of Hearthfire. The pack, available this week for 50% off, allows players to purchase land, build a home, and adopt children. Houses will start out as small cottages but can be customized and expanded to include such add-ons as an alchemy laboratory and an armory.

Halo 4 – Majestic Map Pack detailed, to be released next week
New details have been announced about the second of three upcoming map packs for Halo 4, the Majestic Map Pack. The Certain Affinity- and 343 Industries-developed entry in the War Games Map Pack series will launch next Monday, February 25, with three small- to medium-sized maps, detailed below, as well as two Majestic DLC playlists and a new free-for-all mode, Infinity Rumble.

Baird details Gears of War: Judgment’s multiplayer in new trailer
A new video has launched focusing on Gears of War: Judgment’s multiplayer component. Titled The Guts of Gears – Multiplayer, the video features Lt. Damon Baird going over some of the various modes, armory updates, and rewards. Domination, Free-For-All, OverRun, and Team Deathmatch are covered, as well as a few of the six new grenade types and an overview of the prizebox bonuses.

Capcom Arcade Cabinet – Game Pack 1 now on PSN, Live tomorrow
The first Game Pack has launched on PSN for Capcom Arcade Cabinet, and will be launching tomorrow on Live Arcade. The $4.99/400 MS Point set includes 1943: The Battle of Midway, Avengers, and Black Tiger. Black Tiger is also a free solo release because it includes the Capcom Arcade platform, which is used to access the other titles as well as those in future game packs. Platformer fans looking for more action after Black Tiger can check out the beat ‘em up Avengers, while shooter fans can take to the Pacific in 1943.

Assassin’s Creed III gets Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy
The first part of Assassin’s Creed III’s new three-part downloadable campaign The Tyranny of King Washington, The Infamy, is now available for 360, PC, and PS3. The Infamy begins with Ratonhnhaké:ton awaking to find Washington sitting on the throne as king of the colonies. Gamers can begin their quest to topple the new regime for $9.99/800 MS Points. Wii U owners will get their chance at a later date.

Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection now on PSN
NIS has launched a new strategy-RPG on PSN today, Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection. The Idea Factory-developed PSP, PS Vita release follows alchemist Claude and Yuri, his cursed sister, as they travel the lands of Hades in search of a cure. Multiple endings, an alchemy-based upgrade system, and a quasi-turn-based, time-centric combat system await those who take up their cause.

Crysis 3 now available in stores for 360 and PS3, online for PC
The latest entry in Crytek’s Crysis series is now available for 360, PC, and PS3. Crysis 3 brings back the Nanosuit, and the many powers its bestows, as well as protagonist Prophet. After donning the suit and moniker in Crysis 2, he must now make his way through a domed New York that is overrun by vegetation and patrolled by Cell operatives. Seven distinct areas, known as the 7 Wonders, must be explored as he continues his struggle to save mankind.

Hotline Miami to blow the doors off PSN, announced for PS3, PS Vita
Dennaton Games’ strange, retro-styled action title Hotline Miami will be launching for PS3 and PS Vita this spring. Publisher Devolver Digital, who has recently been making a ruckus with the Serious Sam franchise, will be releasing the title on PSN. The ports are currently in development at Abstraction Games, and Dennaton is overseeing the process.
