It’s been a while in the making, but Aliens: Colonial Marines has finally hit store shelves for 360, PC, and PS3. The xenomorphified first-person shooter is considered franchise canon, which means that what happens in Colonial Marines has a direct impact on the Aliens universe, overshadowing years of graphic novels, games, and films. In addition to the campaign, multiplayer is also supported with four versus modes: Escape, Extermination, Survivor, and Team Deathmatch. Word has been pretty spotty on this one, so you might want to Redbox it first.
Aliens: Colonial Marines is available for 360, PC and PS3. A Wii U version is also scheduled, but its release date has not been announced.
