The PS Vita will be receiving an enhanced port of the Wii action title Muramasa: The Demon Blade, titled Muramasa Rebirth, courtesy of Aksys Games. The studio announced that Rebirth will include high-resolution graphics, improved controls, and surprisingly, a complete relocalization. The story will follow the original, with possessed princess Momohime and ninja Kisuke searching the world for powerful demon blades. However, Aksys is also planning on extending the adventure with character DLC that will add up to four additional scenarios.
Catching up on a little bit of everything on the Edge of Space front today. In addition to new screens, the studio has released info on what players dabbling in the beta have gained access to during January. Aside from a graphical overhaul, storage chests can now be created to safely store items that don’t need to be carried around. New weapons have also been added, including rocket launches, rifles, carbines, and machine guns. And for those who want a little company, or help with collecting items, the first handful of holopet familiars are now available to collect.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II – Revolution, the first of four planned map packs, is now available for 360. Revolution includes a new weapon, a new mode, and five maps, four for standard multiplayer and one for Zombies. The standard maps feature a diverse array of locales, with Downhill set in a mountain resort, Mirage in a luxury villa overrun by sand, Hydro in a Pakistan-based hydroelectric dam’s facilities, and Grind in a skate park located in Venice Beach. The Zombies map, Die Rise, is set amongst collapsed skyscrapers in China. The new mode, Turned, is another addition for Zombies, and has players taking on the role of the undead. Lastly, a new multiplayer-only weapon has been added to the arsenal, the Peacekeeper submachine gun.
