The pistol-packing shape-shifting witch is set to return to the PlayStation 3 next week when Bayonetta launches on PSN. The PlatinumGames-developed action title, directed by Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kamiya, features fast-paced, cinematic combat that mixes dangerous firepower with equally dangerous ponytailes. Gamers can grab the digital version on January 29 for $19.99.
If you have 10 minutes to spare, then Deep Silver might happen to have 10 minutes of Dead Island Riptide footage to show you. In preparation for the upcoming release of Dead Island’s successor, Deep Silver has released a lengthy video walkthrough from a pre-alpha build showcasing many of the new weapons, vehicles, and modes being introduced in Riptide.
Would-be Shoguns awaiting their time to strike will get their chance with the epoch-spanning Total War Shogun 2 Gold Edition. The collection will include Shogun 2 as well as both Rise of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai. Missing are the many clan packs, which add new factions, agents, and soldiers, as well as the blood back. Europe and Australia, however, get all downloadable content to date, save for the blood pack.
