Role-playing fans curious about the next entry in the Etrian Odyssey series, Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan, will be able to try it for themselves on February 7 when a demo launches on the eShop. Atlus has announced that the trial will include the introduction; the first mini-dungeon, Old Forest Mine; the first skyship area, Windy Plains; and areas near the first main dungeon, Lush Woodlands. The main dungeon will host numerous sidequests to attempt, as well as those skills, classes, and gear available in the area in the full title. Towns will have some services on offer as well, such as QR Guild Card exchanges. Save files will also be compatible with the full release.
Etrian Odyssey IV will be available on February 26, and initial launch copies will include a limited edition artbook and CD.
Etrian Odyssey IV brings enhanced graphics and 3D effects, more immersive 3D dungeons, and upgradeable skyships that let players travel and battle among the clouds. Players can utilize 3DS’ bottom touch screen to chart out a path and create maps to aid in the team’s survival of the dangers that await. The game delivers deep character creation and party customization options, and an all-new casual play option will provide greater accessibility for novice players. Additionally, guild card and character trading functionality will be available through the 3DS StreetPass feature.
