Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist box, screens, and trailer released

Ubisoft has released some new media for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist. The latest round includes a handful of new screenshots, the official box art, and the new inauguration trailer. The footage gives players a nearly two-minute glimpse of the stabbing, snapping, shooting, and scurrying they will do as Sam Fisher in his mission to stop the Blacklist terrorist attacks.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist is scheduled to launch August 20 for 360, PC, and PS3.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist will deliver a gripping modern-day special-ops storyline with a new level of technical innovation and quality. The game will include an arsenal of new gadgets and reinvented classic weapons as well as a new “Killing-in-Motion” mechanic which allows players to move efficiently through the environment while taking out enemies quickly and fluidly. Operating under the newly-formed Fourth Echelon unit, Sam and his team will use any means necessary to prevent the next deadly assault.
