After many a video tour from developers Ubisoft Montreal and Massive, Far Cry 3 is now available for 360, PC, and PS3. The open-world first-person shooter has players taking on the role of Jason Brody, a thrill-seeking tourist who finds himself, along with his friends, thrust into a crazy world of drugs and violence. Skills will be learned, animals will be hunted, and bodies will be looted. A separate multiplayer-only campaign is also available for co-op play, which centers on four criminals looking for their stolen loot six months earlier.
Far Cry 3 is available in stores and digitally, through PSN and Ubisoft’s Uplay Shop. Far Cry 3: High Tides, a PS3-only co-op campaign, was also announced and is scheduled to launch in January. High Tides will include two new story chapters, four new character skins, and four to five new missions.
