Nothing says Halloween like Dracula and his horde of monstrous minions. Tipping their hat to All Hallows’ Eve, Konami has released new footage and screenshots from the upcoming 3DS action-platformer Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate.
The Mercury Steam-developed release takes place 25 years after the events in Lords of Shadow and follows Simon and Trevor Belmont in their quest to defeat their ancestor Gabriel Belmont, who has returned as the vampire Dracula. The new adventure serves as a prequel to the upcoming follow-up to Lords of Shadow, Lords of Shadow 2, set to launch next year for 360, PC, and PS3.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate is scheduled to launch in early 2013.
