Sega has announced that Hardlight Studios’ updated PC version of Viking: Battle for Asgard is now available on Steam. The Creative Assembly’s 2008 action title, originally released for 360 and PS3, pits players and their allies against the demonic forces of Hel, goddess of the dead and daughter of Loki. The PC version includes Steam integration, improved lighting and shadowing, ambient occlusion, anti-aliasing, gamepad support, and remappable keyboard-and-mouse controls.

Players control Skarin, a young Viking hero, as he masters an evolving repertoire of gory combat skills and mythical powers.
