The charming Unity of Command has launched on Steam. Gamers who haven’t had a chance to try out this simple but addictive turn-based title will not only be able to score it at a new reduced price of $19.99, but for the first week, they will be able to download it for $14.99—an additional 25% off. The announcement coincides with the reveal that the game’s first DLC pack is nearing completion, Red Turn: The Road to Berlin 1943-45.
The upcoming pack is a continuation of the war after the Stalingrad Campaign. The Soviet-centric expansion does include an Axis scenario, Operation Zitadelle, but the focus is on the 17-scenario campaign that will see Soviet forces turning the tide against the invading forces. The developers noted that there will be a little of everything, from large-scale operations (Rumyantsev and Bagration) to more focused engagements (Battle for Kiev) as well as four scenario just for multiplayer, including Korsun Pocket and Operation Konrad.
Red Turn: The Road to Berlin 1943-45 should be out before the end of the year.
