Turn 10 Studios has launched a new demo for their upcoming racer Forza Horizon. The demo includes a handful of cars as well as several event types, such as a street race over the Finley Dam and a Horizon Festival event over the upper hills. Players who download the demo will also unlock the exclusive 2013 SRT Viper GTS for play in the full version when it launches on October 23.
After crawling, stabbing, and immolating its way out of pressing, Arkane Studios’ Dishonored is now on store shelves. The first-person supernatural shooter features betrayed assassin Corvo seeking revenge against those who double-crossed him. Players are able to mix sword fighting with gunplay and magic as they make their way across a dystopian world, where every decision has a consequence that affects their ending. Personally, I let the future worry about itself and enjoy present by sicking plague-infected rats on people. But to each their own.
A new video preview for Halo 4 detailing the Covenant invasion of Requiem has launched at Halo Waypoint. The footage is from one of the terminal videos that can be found throughout Halo 4, which offer additional background on the surrounding events. King Corobo is in for a busy fall. Konami has announced that they will be rolling out DLC each week for the next two months for the recently released New King’s Story. The 23 packs will range in price between $.99 and $2.99, and include new weapons, costumes, and power-ups. Starting today, gamers can download the Ultimate Pass to gain access to all drops for the single, discounted price of $19.99.
As hard as it is to believe, it’s been 10 years since Divine Divinity hit store shelves. To celebrate the anniversary, Larian Studios has announced the release of a new premium bundle: Divinity Anthology Collector’s Edition. Limited to 25,000 units, the set includes Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, and Divine Divinity II: Developer’s Cut (original game, Flames of Vengeance expansion, and access to Developer Mode), as well as a host of extras: two soundtracks, a 130-page Developer’s Journal, sticker set, two double-sided posters, and two codes for exclusive in-game items for next year’s Divinity: Dragon Commander and Divinity: Original Sin.
Square Enix has announced the first stage in a multi-stage pre-order rollout program for Tomb Raider.
