Capcom has revealed some of their upcoming plans to expand Resident Evil 6’s post-launch lifecycle with day-one and post-launch multiplayer-centric downloadable content. Three packs were announced as launching alongside the game on October 2: Predator Mode, Siege Mode, and Survivors Mode. Further drops will include new items and new maps for Mercenaries as well as all of the new modes.

Predator Mode puts players in the tattered shoes of Ustanak, the B.O.W. that stalks Jake Muller during his campaign. The player controlling Ustanak must attempt to stop all human players during the session, while the rest need to either take him down or simply survive until the end. In Siege, players must protect a non-playable character while another team, sent in to assassinate said non-playable character, must take them out. Lastly, Survivors pits a team of humans versus monsters, with every felled human respawning as a monster until they can take down two human opponents, at which point they will respawn in human form. All of the modes will use maps from Mercenaries Mode and support up to six players.

Gamers who register for a free account at, which will also launch on October 2, will be able to track their stats and accomplishments across the main campaign and multiplayer.
